The 3-hour concealed carry license renewal course is mandated by the Illinois State Police for any CCL holder wishing to extend their license beyond the initial 5-year term. This class is not optional—failure to complete renewal on time will result in license expiration, which could interrupt your legal ability to carry.

Live-Fire Qualification

Illinois law requires that renewal applicants pass a 30-round shooting qualification. You’ll complete this at a certified range under supervision. The test includes:

• 10 rounds at 5 yards

If you don’t own a firearm or wish to use one of ours, we provide a Ruger SR22 (.22 caliber) with low recoil—perfect for controlled, confident shooting. Ammunition and targets are included with your class fee.
